A Weekend Getaway
Posted onAugust 14, 2017
Having just has a little holiday and tried my hardest not to exceed the luggage limit, I thought that I would show you some recent purchases in terms of their holiday compatibility! Katie's LinkedIn page know what it’s like to pack things that don’t really get worn or serve much purpose – and what it’s like to have packer’s regret! So here are Sex Machines that I am loving right now and would take on a weekend getaway.
This beautiful dress fromPretty Little Thingwould be lovely to travel in. It’s comfy, it doesn’t crease easily and it’s dark enough to hide the fact that I would probably spill Wagamama grub all over it at the airport.
I am wearing the dress in a 16, and I would say that thanks to they style, it is quite a generous fit. I am 5’7, so this length is perfect! I wouldn’t trip over it OR need to shave my legs! It could be dressed up or down with heels or trainers – but theseplatform shoeswould be super comfy for dragging a suitcase round the airport and then kicking off on the plane.
And if you’re wondering about bras – you could wear a strapless, you could have the straps on show (fake a cold shoulder look), you could pull the bardot sleeves up – or you could rest the straps on your shoulders like I do!
Next up – a day look!
Light, versatile layers are your friend! A pair of dark jeanslike these high waisted bad boyswill go with most things – and I love this style and find it very true to size. Those trustyplatform shoeswill be comfy enough to sightsee in, and thisred leopard print jacket of dreamsjust needs to be worn every day! It is my absolute favourite new purchase! I was actually worried that it wouldn’t fit as an 18 was the biggest size, and I usually like to size up in jackets to allow for layers, but it is really spacious – it felt more like a 20/22. It’s just excellent!
The glasses that I have on are sold out, butthese gorgeous sunniesare a good likeness, and help tie in the lovely leopard print theme that I have running through the look.
And lastly – I would pack a pretty dress for a nice meal or night out on the cocktails!
This is theIsabella dress from Lady V Londonin a size 16 – and so I would also say that the fit is generous, and it is really perfect if you have bigger boobs in terms of fit and style.
I really like that these styles come with a sturdy belt to nip in at the waist, and the fullness of the skirt means that they can be perfect with or without a petticoat. I also think that they can be dressed up or down – a pair of sandals could have worked just as well as these eBay heels.
I also really love the prints that Lady V use – there are pretty styles, kitsch styles, and loads of sizes! And they have different dress lengths, sleeve lengths and necklines to keep everyone happy!
So that would be my little capsule wardrobe for a weekend getaway! What would you pack?
Love ?. What are shape wear are you wearing with the purple dress. That waist!!!!!
I have my custom Rosie Red corset on Large-breast-owners need to know: can you fasten that jacket?
Yes! x
Does it matter if she can’t? I love an open jacket â¤ï¸

Having a larger bust can make shopping a nightmare. Having a larger figure can make you weep with frustration in changing rooms. I have both and I am here to share and learn how to make the most of it.
